Tuesday Toss Up: VOCAL ENERGY

# T. R. U. T. H.

.
*SPEAK with PURPOSE*
.
.
Vocal energy speaks PASSION and PURPOSE.
.
.
Exude yours out to the world.
.
.
Don’t reduce the quality of your message because of sub-optimal vocal delivery. YOU have a very important message and mission to share with others; allow your vocal delivery to enhance it and your vocal energy to pull others in. There are so many  connections lost because of a lack of “vocal passion”. Hold nothing back. Let others feel YOU through the vehicle of your VOICE.
.
.
If you’re in the audience, do you remember the speaker by all the details of what he/she says?…or by HOW they deliver their message to others? About how their PASSION shines through in their voice and how their vocal delivery has you fully engaged? It’s less about what you’re saying and more about HOW you say it...
.
.
Aim to create CONNECTION through your voice and all the ways you use it to make an IMPACT on others.

(See Video Above)...

.

It’s PRIORITIZE YOUR VOICE FRIDAYYYY!!!🙌🏼🗣 Soooo HOW are YOU prioritizing your voice?!

.
CHECK OUT THE VIDEO AND CAPTION BELOW!! HOW AWESOME is it that a somewhat recent (2018) longitudinal study found that prioritizing your health through physical FITNESS can IMPROVE your cognitive health and longevity by nine or more YEARS?!
.
.
Did you know you could also PRIORITIZE YOUR VOICE by prioritizing your FITNESS?!🙌🏼💪🏻🗣Just a FEW reasons that recent studies have found related to the benefits of EXERCISE: Mood boost, improved prefrontal function, improvements in reaction time, decreased anxiety, decreased depression, decreased hostility, increased feelings of energy, improved focus/attention, improvements in a positive state of mood, improvements in body image, improved motivation to exercise, improved performance on memory tasks, improved cardiovascular function and general respiratory strength, improved full body strength, improved coordination, reduced stress, improved circulation (sweating also reduces toxins), improved posture, and.the.list.goes.on. AND.ON. Pick any one of these and I can tell you away that it could improve voice. There’s also a lot of specific research about how strength training can improve the voice and how cardio can improve the voice… Check out my previous posts to find that information!

I love to share this post because I LOVE fitness, HEALTH, RESEARCH, and VOICE…. Andddd LOVE when all the beautiful worlds gracefully collide to reveal some fabulous conclusions!!!

Repost from @hubermanlab

BEING VERY PHYSICALLY FIT CAN IMPROVE & EXTEND BRAIN FUNCTION & LONGEVITY
-
The latest Huberman Lab podcast hosts Dr. Wendy Suzuki @wendy.suzuki from New York University. She is a professor, neuroscience researcher and soon to be Dean @nyuniversity. Here she describes a study in which people who were very fit in their 40s maintained healthy cognitive function well into their 80s that was significantly better than people in their 80s who had been merely low fit or moderately fit in their 40s.
-
The episode describes research, and tools that anyone can use at any age to improve brain function, mood, memory, and longevity.
